From Drawing to Digital Art

The Drawing to Digital Art exhibition space at La Farinera, Visual Art Centre of Vic (1), was created to offer a series of activities and experiences exploring the interrelationship between art and science.
A historical reflection to understand and experience the creation of images as a historical, social, and cultural process (2), and to explore the evolution of science, technology, and the applications of mathematics in visual communication. These activities enable students to engage in the development of pictorial perspective devices leading to the photographic camera, the transitions between analogue and digital processes, the integration of the camera in smartphones, and the potential of Augmented Reality.
These learning methodologies have evolved in a teaching space called ARTIC (3), with continuous incorporation of new creative image management processes.
